- Open Windows Explorer and change to hard drive "C".
- Open the "Programs" folder here and navigate to the "GIMP" -> "bin" directory.
- The file "libtiff-3.dll" should now be in this folder. Save this file on the desktop by dragging and dropping it there.
- If this file is not there, you can download the 32-bit or 64-bit version of the file.
- Paste the downloaded file into the folder or right click on the file in the folder and select "Rename".
- Remove the hyphen so that the file is called "libtiff3.dll" and restart GIMP.
