Windows Store cache corrupted: Settings troubleshooting
From version 1703, Windows 10 offers the option to reset the store via the settings.
- In the start menu, first look for "Settings". Then select the "Apps" item in the settings.
- Scroll down to "Microsoft Store" in the app list, click the icon once and select "Advanced Options".
- Now click on "Reset" in the new window. After that, the store should work smoothly again.

Another way of troubleshooting is with a short command from the command line.
- Type cmd in the Start menu on your computer to search for the command prompt.
- In the search result, right-click on the command prompt to open the context menu. Select the "Run as administrator" option here.
- If the console is open, just enter the "wsreset" command and confirm the entry.
- The Windows Store is now reset and then starts automatically.
