Dimming LCD, LED and OLED TVs: Set brightness under Android
If your Smart TV has an Android operating system, the setting is - similar to that of smartphones - in the system menu.
- Press the "Home" or "Smart TV" button on the remote control.
- Switch to "Settings" or to "System".
- Often there is the option "display".
- You can find the brightness settings via the "Image" entry.
- You can often also set here that the TV automatically adapts to the ambient light.

- Even for TVs without Android, you can find the regulation for the brightness in the settings.
- If an option for "Brightness" or "Dim screen" does not appear here, it is often located in the "Image" or "Screen settings" submenu.
