Fifa 14: The new FUT14 legends explained
With the new Ignite engine, the "Legends" are also making their debut in "Fifa 14". Our article explains which old stars entered the game and how you can play with them.
Only as a FUT feature in the Xbox version
If you're desperately looking for the "legends" in "Fifa 14" but can't find them, there are two things to it:
- The "Legends" are reserved for the Xbox versions of Fifa 14, ie those of "Xbox 360" or "Xbox One".
- You can only play with the "Legends" in Ultimate Team mode.
What you should know about the FIFA 14 legends
The "legends" have some peculiarities:
- "Legends" can only be found in the packs that contain rare gold cards.
- You can tell immediately whether you have a "legend" by its unique design. The corresponding cards are highlighted in white and framed in gold.
- On Fridays at 7 p.m. a "legend" comes into the so-called "Spotlight" for a week. Then there is a higher percentage of the respective old star per pack. However, more players pounce on it accordingly.
- The "Legends Challenge" is also updated weekly. You compete against a team of legends built around the Spotlight legend. You can win coins once per challenge.
- Be careful with the team chemistry if you use "legends": Since these are not active players, the legend status replaces the actual club. They can only be meaningfully combined with the current stars by their nationality. For example, Weah, who comes from Liberia, is a rather unfortunate choice for your team, although he is undoubtedly a very good footballer.
