Fifa 14 for PS3: Add your own music
Would you like to play the soccer game "Fifa 14" on PS3 with your own music? Find out how it's done here.
Listen to your own MP3s as FIFA background music
You should have saved your favorite football anthems as MP3 files on a USB stick in advance. This is plugged into the PS3 and the files imported - how it works.
- Click the 'Music' tab on your PS3.
- Go to the 'Playlists' menu item there.
- Create a new playlist here and give it a name, eg "FIFA14 Music".
- Now select the individual songs and press the triangle button.
- Several options appear, of which you select 'Add to playlist' and confirm the selection.
So you can play with imported fan chants on the PS3
One of the great advantages of Electronic Arts' FIFA football game series is that you can also listen to your favorite music while kicking. This worked in a similar way to the predecessors and also in the current edition "FIFA14" for the Playstation 3.
- Click the 'Customize' option in the Settings menu.
- Then select 'Replay Theater'.
- Important: Do not press the X button yet!
- Instead, press the right stick to the right to open a submenu.
- Now the point 'Own music & chants' or 'Own sounds' should be visible. Click on it.
- Then select 'My Fifa14'. There you can import the fan songs of your favorite club as MP3 files.
- Finally, click on 'Arena & Menus' and select the playlist you have created. Now you can hear your favorite songs and songs in the background.
To keep the loading times moderate, catch chants or goal cheers should be as short as possible, around 30 seconds. You can use the "YouTube Converter" to convert fan chants from YouTube videos into MP3s.
