FIFA 17 long-range shots: This is how shots work from a distance
When nothing is going on in a playful way, sometimes only the crowbar in the form of long-range shots helps. This applies to FIFA 17 as well as in reality. This practical tip shows you how long-range shots are most likely to lead to success in EA Sports' soccer simulation.
Long-range shots in FIFA 17 - how it works
In order for the long-range shots in FIFA 17 to actually land in the goal, you have to observe and implement some instructions.
- First of all, this means that the player you control and who should fire the long-range shot must stop sprinting.
- It is also an advantage if there is enough space around the relevant player. Above all, this means that there are no opponents in the vicinity that could block the shot or foul the shooter.
- It is also important that the player leads the ball with his strong foot. You can find out which player prefers which foot in the team management under the player information. If the player leads the ball with his weaker foot, it is usually sufficient to patch the left stick briefly (!) In the direction of the foot that is to be used for shooting.
- The left stick must then be pressed and held in the direction of travel. If you play from left to right, the left stick must be pressed to the right.
- To complete a distance shot, the shot display must be charged with approximately three bars.
- If you follow these five steps correctly one after the other, there is a good chance that the ball will fidget in the net from a distance after the shot.
- Another tip: aim mirror-inverted to the strong foot of your player. This means that with right-footed feet, regardless of the position to the goal, you should aim at the left corner of the goal, with left-footed feet the right side of the goal accordingly.
