FIFA 17: release, system requirements and first details of improvements

FIFA 17: innovations at a glance
- The new story mode in FIFA 17 is called "The Journey". You will accompany the young talent Alex Hunter on his promotion to the Premier League. Through your own decisions in the game, the course of the story should change individually.
- However, FIFA 17 still has numerous other changes in store. Among other things, the Japanese J-Legau is now available with all 18 teams. 500 new stadium chants and details such as pyrotechnics have been added.
- Tactics were also tweaked in the game. With FIFA 17 new walking paths should be possible again. EA also promised to revise the standard situations. The facial features of the Bayern players were scanned for more realistic emotions.
- The "FUT Champions" mode is also new. Here you can prove yourself in small tournaments against other players every day. Whoever wins many games qualifies for the Weekend League. Those who stay on the leaderboard there can later win up to $ 1.3 million in the EA Sport FIFA 17 Ultimate Team Championship.
- By the way: A lot has also changed optically: EA is switching to the Frostbite engine for the first time in FIFA history. This is used among others in Battlefield, Star Wars: Battlefront and Mirror's Edge Catalyst and is said to improve the graphics significantly.
FIFA 17: when is the release?
- FIFA 17 will be commercially available on September 27, 2016. EA Access members should receive the game a week in advance, but only for a limited time.
- As before, FIFA 17 will be released for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The PC version costs 59.99 euros, the console versions 69.99 euros.
- There will also be a demo version of FIFA 17. This will be available in the corresponding shops from September 13th.
FIFA 17: the system requirements
The system requirements of FIFA 17 have increased significantly due to the change to the new Frostbite engine. However, the requirements for CPU and graphics card have not changed too much, so FIFA 17 also runs on somewhat older and weaker technology.
