FIFA 20: Buy & Sell Coins - Here's how

In the FIFA 20 soccer video game, you can earn coins to receive players, contracts or upgrades. If this is too expensive, you can also buy or sell coins. We explain to you what you have to pay attention to and why we generally advise against it.

Buying and selling coins for FUT: Also prohibited in FIFA 20

Buying or selling coins for FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) is again prohibited in this year's FIFA 20. EA takes a stand on this and warns against illegal coin purchases and of course also against sales. There are also legitimate ways to get coins:

• Complete games in FIFA Ultimate Team. As a rule, you will receive between 400 and 600 coins per game won.
• So-called solo challenges also bring in coins.
• Coins can also be earned in offline mode. Start and complete tournaments or squad battles, for example.
• The lucrative sale of objects on the FIFA transfer market is another way to obtain coins legally. In so-called sniping, you try to bid for players as cheaply as possible and then resell them profitably. The day of the week and the time are important and influence the price. So it can be worthwhile to wait.

This happens when buying or selling coins

If you get caught buying or selling coins in FIFA 20, you can expect EA to lock the account. A lock can last for weeks and months, at worst EA withdraws the license and online playing is no longer possible with this account. However, the supposedly serious "sellers" of FIFA Coins represent another danger:

• In order to be able to sell you coins, the supposedly reputable dealers, behind whom phishers almost always hide, have to see your account details. So the seller can log into your account and cause great damage.
• But it goes even further: Your account can then be used to hack more unsuspecting players.
• Tip: Never give your account details or passwords to third parties. Anyone who wants to see your registration information is always dubious and tries to fool you.
