Final Fantasy 13: The 5 best tips
With Final Fantasy 13, Square Enix has released another successor to the popular role-playing game. We have the 5 best game tips for you.
1. Strengths and weaknesses of the opponents
Knowing your opponents' weaknesses and strengths makes fighting in Final Fantasy 13 much easier.
- At the beginning of each fight, call up the opponent overview with R1.
- Then study the values. Which opponent can you eliminate relatively quickly with your team? Which enemy will be dangerous in this fight?
- With "???" you must first reveal hidden values. You can do this with the "Reveal (Libra)" ability. This costs 1 MTP point and can be used twice per opponent.
2.Fighting tips for Final Fantasy 13
Most of the time in Final Fantasy 13, you're dealing with dangerous enemies. You should consider the following fighting tips.
- After revealing your opponents' weaknesses, in most cases you should first kill the weakest opponents.
- You should also try to shock enemies as quickly as possible.
- This works best with a commander (crusher) and a Ravager (ravager). Drive the shock bar up with the two Ravagers and then do a lot of damage with the Commander.
3. Side missions in Final Fantasy 13
In addition to the story and main missions, Final Fantasy 13 also has many side missions.
- However, some side missions are very difficult, sometimes even impossible.
- In this case, just skip the side mission and continue with the main mission.
- You can reload your game and only complete the side missions after you have defeated the final boss.
- Your characters are much stronger than before.
4. Farm money quickly in FF13
In Final Fantasy 13 there are different places for "power farming". On these you can get rid of a large number of KP relatively easily and earn money quickly.
- Archylte Steppe (north plateau): Here King Behemoth fights against a megistostherios. Just attack the Megistostherios first and then defeat the king. The two opponents are already weakened and do not pose a major threat, but they do bring a lot of HP.
- Capitol Eden: Again, different monsters fight each other. Intervene again and, in addition to many CP, may also dust off good equipment.
- Florilegium Trench: If your characters are already very strong, you can go to the Florilegium Trench to gain a high number of HP. A new enemy squad spawns every 20 minutes. However, this is very strong.
5. Time is your bigger enemy
In Final Fantasy 13 you always play against time.
- You should plan your routes and missions well.
- Some missions can only be completed at certain times. Don't just wait. Use the time with a side mission or go on a farm.
- Always have a look at the time available and try to combine as many things as possible and do it at the same time.
