Fire TV Stick: Calibrate the screen - how it works
If the display on the Fire TV Stick is too large or too small, you have to calibrate the screen. This works at any time via the settings of the HDMI stick. We'll tell you exactly how to proceed.
Amazon Fire TV Stick: Recalibrate the screen
Depending on the TV and the supported resolution, it may happen that the image of the Fire TV Stick does not match the TV area. You can solve this problem using the integrated screen calibration and your TV settings.
- To do this, start the Fire TV Stick and switch to the settings.
- There you click on the category "Sounds and screens".
- Select the entry "Screen".
- Then click on "Calibrate screen". A display with four gray arrows appears.
- Make sure the tips of the arrows touch the edge of the screen. If this is not the case, you need to adjust the overscan settings of your TV. There is usually a separate button for this on the TV remote control.
- Alternatively, you can find various picture size options in the settings of your TV. Adjust them until the calibration in the Fire TV Stick fits.
We explain in a separate practical tip what you can do if the Fire TV Stick does not display any picture at all.
