Fire TV Stick: control the volume - how it works
If movies and series on your Fire TV Stick are too loud or quiet, you need to adjust the volume. In this practical tip, we clarify how this works with the Amazon stick.
Amazon Fire TV Stick: control and adjust the volume
Simply connect the Amazon Fire TV Stick to an HDMI port on your TV - as well as to the power - and the picture and sound are reproduced. It is not uncommon for the volume to be louder or quieter than other sources.
- However, you cannot change the volume on the Fire TV Stick itself. The reason: Since the stick does not work in isolation, but always in connection with a television, Amazon assumes that the necessary settings can be made via the TV.
- So adjust the volume directly on your TV with your TV remote control. If you use an external sound system, you can also change the volume there (usually via the subwoofer).
- Also note that the volume output on the Fire TV Stick is not always the same. For example, Netflix may be relatively loud, but the sound may be too quiet on Amazon Video or YouTube. It is therefore quite normal for you to have to adjust the volume depending on the app.
