Firefox 32: All innovations at a glance
Firefox 32 has been available as an update since September 1st. We present all innovations in this article.
Firefox 32: New context menu
- Context menu: If you right-click anywhere in Firefox, the context menu opens.
- In addition to the usual functions, you will now also find buttons to navigate back and forth a page. Buttons for reloading the website and adding a favorite are also new.
- Additional functions are expected for Firefox 33.
Firefox 32: malware scan for downloads
- Each download is now automatically compared with the "Google Application Reputation Database". Previously, only a self-made blacklist from Firefox was used.
- This makes Firefox much safer, but the file is completely blocked even if you make a mistake. Blocked downloads can only be accessed with a little effort.

Firefox 32: Further changes
- Tabs: The design was refined once again. The tabs are now much more rounded.
- Search: What has long been known from Chrome is now also available in Firefox. If you press the [Ctrl] + [F] keys at the same time, you can search the website for a term. New is: With the update, the number of hits is now also displayed.
