Let Firefox start automatically - how it works
If you want to automatically access Firefox when Windows starts, the program can be started at the same time. We'll show you how to make the appropriate settings.
Start Firefox automatically with Windows
- First you need a shortcut from Firefox. If you have the Firefox icon on the desktop, right-click on it and select the "Create shortcut" option.
- If this is not the case, open the Explorer with [Windows] + [E] and navigate to the path "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Mozilla Firefox". A link can also be created using the "firefox.exe" file.
- Then press the [Windows] and [R] keys simultaneously so that the "Run" window opens.
- Enter the command "shell: startup" and confirm with "OK". The autostart folder then opens.
- Paste the shortcut from your desktop here. If you restart Windows, Firefox will open shortly after starting.
