Firefox: Open individual websites automatically in private mode
With Firefox you can open web pages in private mode. We'll show you how to automatically open certain pages so that you don't leave any traces on your PC or on the Internet.
Open individual websites in Firefox automatically in private mode
- First you need the add-on "Private Tab" for your browser. Download it from the add-on store and install the add-on.
- Now you can create a bookmark for each desired website and set it to open in private mode.
Private tab for Firefox: create and modify bookmarks
- As usual, open the page in question in normal mode and add it to the bookmarks by clicking on the star next to the address bar.
- Click on the list symbol next to the star, select the bookmark with the right mouse button and click on "Settings".
- Write "private: /// #" in front of the address. Example: "private: ///#//www.chip.de/".
- Confirm with "Save". Now the corresponding page is always opened in private mode.
