Firefox: Subscribe to the feed as a bookmark
To keep track of your favorite feeds in Mozilla Firefox, you can subscribe to them as a bookmark. They will then appear in the form of a list of the latest news on your bookmarks toolbar.
Bookmark RSS feed in Firefox
You need the address of the feed to subscribe to a feed. You will often find links to the RSS feed on the margins or at the top and bottom.
- Go to the address of the feed in Firefox. To do this, you often have to click through a few pages. You can tell that you have entered the correct address from the fact that Firefox recognizes the XML file as a feed and automatically displays the feed in Firefox's own format (see screenshot).
- Firefox now offers a yellow box at the top to subscribe to the feed. If not already set, select "Dynamic Bookmarks" in the selection box. As a result, the bookmark in the toolbar is always updated automatically and shows the latest messages.
- Click on "Subscribe Now".
- In the dialog box, make sure that "Bookmarks toolbar" is selected, otherwise you will not find the feed there again.
- Click on "Subscribe". The feed now appears in the bookmark bar next to a folder symbol with the feed symbol (see screenshot).
