Firefox clear: close tab - Here's how
With Firefox clear you can call different tabs in parallel and compare different pages. This practical tip shows you how to close a tab again.
How to clear a tab with Firefox
If you have several tabs open in Firefox, you can easily navigate between different websites.
- Close all tabs: You can close the tabs of your session by tapping on the blue circle at the bottom right of the display. An overview of all your tabs opens there. With a click on "Clear browser history" all your tabs close.
- Close individual tab: Another option is to close the last opened tab by tapping the back button on your mobile phone. This will take you back to the previous tab and the currently open one will close automatically.
- If you only have one tab open, you can simply enter a new web address at the top and this will take you to a new tab. You can also press the purple button with the trash can icon to clear the open tab in Firefox close.
We will show you how to arrange the tabs in Firefox for the computer below in the next practical tip.
