Uninstall Firefox without any residue - how it works
If you no longer want to use Firefox, you can uninstall the browser without any residues.
Uninstall Firefox completely - Instructions
- Open the Control Panel and select the "Uninstall a program" option under the "Programs" category.
- You will now see all installed programs in alphabetical order. Look for "Mozilla Firefox" in the list.
- Select the entry and click on the "Uninstall" button at the top. Then a small window opens.
- Click on the "Next" button and activate the "Remove my data and adjustments" option.
- The program is removed from your system using the "Uninstall" button.
- If there is still data from Firefox on the PC, delete the folder "C: \ Program Files \ Mozilla Firefox \" or "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Mozilla Firefox".
- Using the CCleaner can also remove possible Firefox remnants.
