Firefox: start private mode
If you start private mode in Firefox, you will surf on your computer for a short time without logging. For example, they do not generate a chronicle or cookies. This practical tip shows you how to start private mode and surf anonymously.
Firefox: Surf anonymously with private mode
- Click on the "Settings" icon at the top right and select "Private window".
- A new Firefox window will now open. In this you can now surf in private mode.
- No history, pages visited, search entries, form data, cookies, temporary internet files and no download history are saved in private mode.
- Note: Created bookmarks or downloaded files are retained even after exiting private mode. The cache is also a weak point in private mode.
