Backup and restore profile in Firefox
In addition to the bookmarks, your personal settings are saved in your Firefox profile. You can easily save them and import them on any other device.
- First start Firefox and enter the command "about: support" in a new tab.
- Under the "General information" category you will now find the "Profile folder" item.
- Click here on the "Profile folder" button and you will see the complete content of your profile.
- Go back to the parent folder at the top so that you can copy the entire profile folder named "xxx.default".
- If you want to restore your profile on another computer, follow the first three steps again.
- Delete all files from the profile folder and insert all files of the backup. Paste only the contents of the folder, not the entire folder.
