To change the default search engine in Firefox, click the small arrow icon to the left of the search box next to the search box. This is to the right of the input field for the website.
- If the search field is not displayed, you can insert it by right-clicking the "Customize" button.
- Select the "Manage Search Engines" option.
- You can now choose one of the specified search engines such as Yahoo or Google. Alternatively, other search engines can be selected by clicking on "Add more search engines" via the Mozilla add-on website.
- Once you have selected the desired search engine, confirm it by clicking "OK".
