- Set Firefox to only load tabs when they are displayed. If you have multiple home pages, Firefox will quickly become slow. Therefore, press [Alt] + [X] and select "Settings". Check the "Tabs" area so that the browser only loads tabs when they are displayed.
- Deactivate redundant add-ons. To do this, press the key combination [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [A] and select "never activate" to the right of the respective add-ons.
