Pin the Firefox website to the taskbar
You can also pin a frequently used Firefox website on the taskbar. Unlike Internet Explorer, however, this is not so easy. However, we will present you with an uncomplicated solution.
Pin the Firefox website on the taskbar
- First save the Firefox website on your desktop and select "Website, HTML only" as the file type.
- Right-click on the file on your desktop and select "Send to"> "Dekstop (shortcut)" in the context menu.
- Right-click on the link to open the "Properties" and click in the "Target" field.
- Now enter the following parameters: "C: \ Program Files \ Mozilla Firefox \ firefox.exe" -new-window www.chip.de (with quotation marks). You may have to adapt the code to the Firefox file path and enter the desired website.
- Then you can click "OK" and drag the shortcut to the taskbar.
You can also attach folders to the taskbar in a similar way. Only the parameters differ here.
