Flash Player for PS4 - is there?
In contrast to the PS3, Sony decided to take a different approach when it came to the Flash Player. In this article, we will tell you whether the PS4 supports the feature and which other browser technologies are used.
PS4: No more Flash Player
- With the change from PS3 to PS4, Sony deleted the Flash Player.
- With the latest firmware, you could still install Flash Player 9 on the PS3.
- Unfortunately, there are no announcements yet that Flash will be retrofitted in the future.
- This is probably due to the fact that the Flash Player is always an additional gateway for malware. In addition, the standard is increasingly being replaced by HTML5.
