- Open Word. Then click on "File" and then select the "Options".
- Go to the "Customize ribbon"> "Select commands:"> "Main tabs" tab.
- Open the "Developer Tools" and click on the "Controls" sub-item. Left-click here to select the "pre-version tools".
- Now you have to include the option in a tab in Word: To do this, select one of the "main tabs" on the right-hand side and create a "New Group". With a right click on the "New Group" you can name it.
- With a click on the "Add" button, the "Previous version tools" are now assigned to the group you created. With "OK" you still have to confirm this.
