If you want to see "Epic Victory" in Fortnite, you first have to land faster. Because only the early bird catches the worm. How you open the first box of the game, we will tell you in the following article.
Fortnite: Get off the party bus earlier
Similar to the competition, as a player in Fortnite you first step out of a bus that flies over the island. This always crosses the landscape from a different angle - you should never forget that.
- This tip seems a little obvious, but it helps a lot. The rule is: the first person to get out will also be the first to get down. Therefore, always jump out of the bus as early as possible.
- Make sure that you should always let your glider fire by itself - in most cases you will be faster than the competition.
- However, a lot of experience and feeling is required, because if you get out too early, you probably won't reach your destination.
- There are ways to reach the most distant corner on the map.
- One option is of course to release the glider or parachute a little earlier - so you won't be the first on the ground.
- The other is to press the button to release the glider in quick succession or "spam". This way you can get to your desired destination quickly - no matter how far away.
Lean forward
- One big mistake you make as a Fortnite newbie to Battle Royale is not to speed up your case.
- Lean forward to fall towards the ground much more quickly. It works similarly in "Playerunknown's Battlegrounds".
- In doing so, you should make sure to keep the flight path as diagonal as possible - especially if the destination is further away, as recommended above.
- If the angle is too steep, the character may suddenly slow down the fall.
Jump over low areas
- This tip may seem strange at first, but it works wonders.
- Because if there is a mountain or a tall tree below you, your glider opens very early - without you being able to close it again. This significantly increases the time you need to reach the ground.
- The solution: Shortly before the screen opens, you should be over a very low area. This means, for example, bodies of water or valleys.
- The river that moves from "Loot Lake" to the south of the island towards the town of "Lucky Landing" is particularly well suited. If the screen opens above the river bed, you have a good chance of being the first even in "Tilted Towers".
