Take photos with a 3D effect - the Phogy app in the test
If you really want to impress your friends, you can take a photo with a 3D effect. All you need is a free app for your smartphone and a calm hand. The o2 gurus explain everything else in this practical tip.
Take 3D photos with the free "Phogy" app
"Phogy" is a free camera app for Android and iOS that shoots images with a 3D effect. If you tilt your smartphone in one direction, the 3D photo also moves and you can view yourself from different perspectives. Here's how to do it:
- Start the app and switch to the front camera. Then take a selfie as usual, but slowly turn in a circle. In our video we show you exactly how that should look.
- Tips: It is important that you or the target object always remain in the center of the display. If you succeed, you will get a good star rating at the end. If your photo only gets one or two stars, you should try again. Here you can get a lot more out of the 3D effect.
- In the finished picture, the background moves as soon as you move the smartphone. This creates a chic 3D effect.
- If that's not enough for you, you can embellish the video with various effects. To do this, you need the Pro version, which you can get as an in-app purchase for around 3 euros.
