- Reboot your router.

Set up the area code manually
A common problem arises when sending a fax with Fritz Fax if the area code is not entered manually. You do this as follows:
- Open Fritz Fax and click on "Fax".
- Then navigate to "Settings> Extension" and check "Include location information for phone options".
- Then open the "Telephone options" and enter your area code under "Area code".
- Save the changes with "OK".
Error message: 3314 / disconnection during transmission
If you receive the error code "3314 / Disconnection during transmission (termination from remote site)", the problem is with the type of transmission. Sending a fax using the T.38 protocol can cause problems for some providers, which is why you have to deactivate the function.
- Open the FRITZ! Box user interface and log on.
- Click the "Settings" menu.
- Then navigate to "Advanced Settings> Telephony> Internet Telephony".
- On the "Internet Telephony" page, switch to the "Advanced Settings" tab.
- Remove the check mark at "T.38" and save the change with "OK".
