Use Fritzbox as an alarm clock - how it works
If you have a Fritzbox and a landline phone, you can use both as alarm clocks. We show you how to make an alarm clock from both devices.
Fritzbox: Use the phone as an alarm clock
So that you can use your Fritzbox as an alarm clock, you must first connect a landline phone to the router via DECT.
- Then open the Fritzbox user interface in your browser and log in with your router password.
- In the left column click on "Telephony".
- There you choose the sub-item "wake-up call"
- Then activate the "Activate wake-up call" box and set the desired time.
- With "Phone" you can choose which of your devices should ring. Below you will also find options that allow you to set a recurring alarm.
- Finally save your settings with the "Apply" button.
- Tip: You can set up to three different alarm clocks on the Fritzbox. Simply switch to the corresponding tab. The alarm tone for all alarm clocks corresponds to the currently set ringtone on your phone.
Tip: How to connect the printer to the Fritzbox
If you do not want to be disturbed by callers at night, you can activate the Fritzbox night service and mute the phone.
