Fritzbox: No DSL connection - you can do that
If your Fritzbox cannot establish a DSL connection, you have no access to the Internet. You can find out what you can do about this in this practical tip.
No DSL connection at the Fritzbox - what to do?
- First, check the entire wiring of the router. In particular, check that all connections are properly seated and that all cables are intact.
- So that the router can connect to the Internet, you must have entered the correct access data from your provider in the user interface.
- Your provider may currently have a problem, which is why the Fritzbox does not receive a DSL connection. Just try again later.
- In some cases it may be sufficient to disconnect the Fritzbox from the mains for about 10 seconds.
- Your DSL connection may not have been activated yet. You will receive further information from your provider by post.
- To check whether there is a problem with your DSL line, contact your provider. Leave the Fritzbox switched on and connected.
