Fritzbox is not recognized - what to do?
- First try to connect a LAN cable to the Fritzbox and your PC.
- Then enter "fritz.box" in your browser and confirm with [Enter].
- If the Fritzbox user interface is not called up, continue with the tips below.
- Make sure that all drivers, especially for your network card, are up to date.
- The LAN cable may also be defective. Therefore, replace it as a test.
- Alternatively, you can also try to establish a WLAN connection with the Fritzbox.

- If this is not recognized either, briefly press the "WLAN" button directly on the router to activate the WLAN.
- To be able to establish a WLAN connection, you have to activate WLAN on your PC. For a laptop, you may need to press a key combination to activate the WiFi adapter.
- When using the WLAN, make sure that you do not position the router too far from the PC, otherwise the connection may be weak or not possible.
- Also, do not place any devices near the router that can interfere with WLAN reception. These are mainly microwaves or baby monitors.
