Make frozen yogurt yourself: Instructions for creamy enjoyment
You can easily make frozen yoghurt yourself, even without an ice cream maker. We show a simple recipe and a few toppings to round it off.
Make frozen yoghurt yourself - it's that easy
You don't need many ingredients for the creamy pleasure. In addition, no special equipment is required in your kitchen for the production.
- For the basic recipe, stir 500 ml of natural yoghurt with a whisk or hand mixer until creamy. Gradually add 50 to 100 g of powdered sugar and half a teaspoon of vanilla extract or a packet of vanilla sugar.
- Give this recipe your own taste with different ingredients. For example, you can mix in some cocoa, crushed, frozen fruit or the juice of two lemons.
- Place the finished cream in the freezer for about two hours. It is important that you stir the cream every 20 or 30 minutes and also fold in the frozen edges. This will lift some air in, which will keep the mass creamy.
- Your frozen yogurt is ready when the mass is frozen but still creamy.
These toppings make it really tasty
This is how the DIY ice cream tastes very tasty, and it gets even better with toppings. When it comes to choosing, there is actually nothing that cannot be done.
- Fresh, small cubed fruits are classic. Chopped nuts are also very tasty.
- If calories are not an issue, cream or chocolate sauce should not be missing. When it comes to sweets, you have a large selection: crush your favorite cookies, such as Oreos, and you have a quick and seductive topping.
- Children like it colorful. Simple, colorful sugar sprinkles or chocolate lentils are ideal here.
- Not suitable for children, alcoholic toppings are very popular with adults. From egg liqueur to rum pots, everything is possible. A topping from Baileys gives a fine taste.
- Use an alcoholic topping if you don't overdo it. Too much of it hides the frozen yoghurt taste.
