You can make a delicious fruit ice cream yourself in various ways. We'll show you two methods in this article. With the first one, you can even enjoy the ice cream immediately without waiting.
Making fruit ice cream yourself - the quick option
If you have a craving for a refreshing fruit ice cream, the treat is ready in no time.
- Simply put frozen fruit in a blender. Raspberries or strawberries are particularly suitable.
- Then add curd and plain yogurt. For every 300 grams of frozen fruit, you need 50 grams of these ingredients.
- Finally, add 45 grams of powdered sugar per 300 grams of frozen fruit.
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly to a creamy mass. Then you can already serve and enjoy the ice cream.
- Tip: You can also prepare a low-calorie fruit ice cream. Simply add a few ice cubes to the frozen fruit instead of quark and plain yogurt and mix well.
- If you want to save more calories, sweeten with a few stevia drops if necessary. Then leave out the powdered sugar here.
Make fruit ice cream yourself with fresh fruit
You don't need an ice cream maker for this variant of the homemade fruit ice cream either.
- For this recipe you need 300 grams of fresh fruit. If you want to make more ice cream at once, simply add up the additional ingredients.
- You are completely free to choose the fruit. You can make your ice cream from berries, but also from bananas or other types of fruit.
- Put the fruits together with 200 milliliters of milk and 100 milliliters of cream in a blender. Mix the ingredients into a creamy mass.
- If you want a little more sweetness in the ice, you can add a little maple syrup or honey - sugar is of course also possible.
- Put the finished mass in a sufficiently large container and place it in the freezer or freezer.
- The ice there must now freeze through for several hours. To make it nice and creamy, stir the mixture vigorously every half hour.
