Stiftung Warentest tested nine foot creams in the May 2018 edition. The result surprised even the experts: all selected creams reduced the cornea on the feet. In this article, you can read which foot cream finished particularly well and where you can get a real bargain.
Foot cream test winner at Stiftung Warentest reduces the cornea
Stiftung Warentest subjected the foot creams to intensive testing. The experts examined which creams reduced the cornea, how they were used and what skin feeling was created. They also checked handling, packaging and declaration as well as any critical fragrances.
- The first place in the foot cream test came from the product "Anti Corneal Intensive Cream" from Hansaplast. The cream significantly reduces the cornea, which is due to the urea (urea) it contains, which is 20% contained in the product. The experts found No critical fragrances and praised the very good handling. With a price of 8.65 euros per 100 milliliters, the Hansaplast foot cream is in the middle of the tested products.
- The foot balm "Balea Callus Reduction Cream" from dm took second place in the test and made a good overall impression. The experts rated it particularly well that the cream is so easy to use. With a price of EUR 3.90 per 100 milliliters, the cream is one of the cheapest products in the test.
The cheapest foot cream convinces in handling
You can make a real bargain with the "Fusswohl corneal reduction cream" from Rossmann. It costs 2.84 euros per 100 milliliters and is therefore the cheapest cream in the test at Stiftung Warentest.
- The foot cream finished fifth in the test and ended with a good result. It was particularly convincing due to its easy handling.
- The judgment on the packaging was comparatively poor. However, thanks to the fruit acids it contains, the cream was able to score the cornea well.

The foot cream "corneal cream" from Gehwol med could not convince. With a price of 9.75 euros per 100 milliliters, it is the third most expensive cream in the test.

- The last place was due to the fragrance BMHCA. This substance is currently classified by the EU as a health hazard.
