Preparation: Locate the mobile phone of the Galaxy S series using GPS
Before you can locate your Samsung smartphone, you need to make a few preparations:
- First you have to set the remote access on your smartphone: To do this, go to "Settings" and then to "Personal"> "Security".
- Activate the option "Locate mobile phone / remote access". Confirm the following warning with "OK".
- Then activate the "Use wireless networks" option so that the location can be carried out easily.
- You then have to link your smartphone to your Samsung account. If you don't have an account yet, you can of course create one. This has numerous advantages.
- If you have linked your smartphone to the Samsung account, all you have to do is log in with your account on the Samsung location page.

- If you have lost your smartphone, simply log in to the location page with your Samsung account and select "Find mobile device" on the left.
- You will then be shown the current location of the device. Thanks to the "Start location" function, you can easily create a motion profile.
- Other useful functions, such as locking the phone, make it more difficult for the avoidable thief to use the device.
- You can also call the phone or view call logs. Practical: If the SIM card is removed or replaced, the new number is automatically communicated to you. For example, you can contact the police.
