Galaxy S6 crashed: This is how the restart works
You can often no longer operate buttons when the Galaxy S6 crashes. How to force a restart with a key combination and how you can use your smartphone afterwards, read in this manual.
Crashed: Force restart on Galaxy S6
If the display of your Samsung Galaxy S6 suddenly freezes, you can usually not press anything anymore. A restart is often the only thing that helps:
- To restart the Galaxy S6, you have to press two buttons simultaneously: the power button and the "volume down" button.
- You will find the power button on the top right on the edge of the case, the "volume down" button on the left outer edge.
- Press and hold both buttons for a few seconds. The screen will darken and your smartphone will restart. You can release the buttons when darkening begins.
