Garmin Vivoactive: Pair the chest strap - this is how you connect both devices
If you want to couple your chest strap with the Garmin Vivoactive, this is really easy. We show you exactly how to do this
Connect the chest strap to the Garmin Vivoactive
Note: If you received the heart rate sensor with your Garmin Vivoactive, the two devices are already connected to each other. The connection only needs to be set up once, then the two devices connect automatically with each training session.
- Attach the heart rate sensor to the chest strap so that both Garmin letterings point forward.
- On the back of the belt you will find a total of four electrodes and contact strips. Wet them a little to improve performance.
- Once you have put on the belt, you can select the "Add new" option on the Garmin Vivoactive under "System" and "Sensors".
- Under "Search all" you can now select the heart rate sensor on your chest strap.
- Note: The chest strap must not be further than 3 meters from the watch. If there are problems with the connection, move about 10 meters away from other sparking objects.
New: The Garmin Vivofit 3 is so good
