Gas grill: These types of gas are suitable
Both propane and butane gas are suitable for use on the gas grill.
- There are differences in the prices of the two varieties. But mostly you should know if you want to grill in winter. If so, use propane gas.
- You can also use propane in the cold season, as it does not freeze at temperatures down to minus 40 degrees.
- Regardless, you will see no difference when using both gases.
- Tip: Be sure to retrofit a pressure regulator on the gas bottle on your grill if none should be available. But even with the included controllers, it is mostly just a simple controller. Take a double pressure regulator. This has two pressure chambers.
- Another tip: Get some foam from your installer to check the density of gas pipes. You spray this foam from time to time on the connection and see whether your gas connection is tight. You can tell that by the fact that air bubbles form in the foam.
