Withdrawing money from the supermarket - you should know that
In the meantime, almost 86 percent of all supermarket chains offer the option to withdraw amounts of up to EUR 200 completely free of charge. This concept is called cash back and is only linked to a purchase of five to 15 euros.
- ATMs are becoming fewer and fewer, so banks in particular are benefiting greatly from the cash-back service.
- But the markets also benefit from this, because the ability to withdraw money free of charge attracts more and more customers to the shops. In addition, most branches lack space to set up ATMs.
- No matter which bank you are a customer of, the cash-back service is free of charge for you. This saves you the way to the nearest ATM.
- Most markets have limited themselves to checking cards in the cash-back process. However, some branches offer the possibility to withdraw money from credit cards.
