Restore closed tabs in Chrome
It doesn't take long to restore closed tabs in Chrome - this process is quick and easy. You can read how it works in our practical tip.
Restore the last closed tab in Chrome
This function is useful if, for example, you accidentally closed a tab in your Chrome browser and the next moment you remember that you want to restore it.
- Right-click anywhere in the tab bar in your open Chrome browser.
- An info box opens in which you press the "Open closed tab again" button. The tab you last closed will now open again. You can do exactly the same thing with the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + T.
Reopen recently closed tabs in the Chrome browser
If you accidentally closed more than one tab in Chrome that you want to restore, it works like this:
- Click the "Customize Google Chrome" icon in the top right corner of your Chrome browser (see screenshot).
- The "History" now opens the overall history in which all your browser data can be found. This means that all the websites that you have visited in the last few days are saved here with the exact time, date and day. Now you just need to click on the entries you want to restore. Then they open again in a new tab.
