Gimp: Mark all levels - how it works
In GIMP you cannot mark all levels in the usual way. In this case, the pressed [CTRL] key or other key combinations do not work. We'll show you how to do it instead.
Mark all levels in GIMP - this is how it really works
The solution is hidden in the GIMP Layer Manager - here you can chain several layers and edit them at the same time:
- Start GIMP and open an image with several layers. You can add another image as a layer with the key combination [CTRL] + [ALT] + [O].
- Now open the Layer Manager with the combination [CTRL] + [L].
- You will now see the different levels of your graphic listed one below the other. The eye symbol of each level is activated by default, so the level is visible. To the right of each of these symbols you can activate a concatenation of the levels, in the example (see figure) "Level 2" and "Level 3" are linked.
- You can now edit or move linked layers at the same time.
