With the free photo editing software Gimp, you can easily roll up a photo at the corner thanks to a special filter.
Create a curl effect with Gimp
- Open the image you want to edit in Gimp.
- If you only want to roll up part of the image, mark the area of the photo with the rectangular selection tool. If you do not select an area, the effect is applied across the entire size of the image.
- Navigate to "Filters -> Distort -> Curl". In the dialog window you can choose which corner should be rolled up. If you want to roll up several corners, simply repeat the process accordingly.
- Choose the color with which the rolled page should appear. You can choose foreground and background color or alternatively a gradient.
- Confirm the application of the effect.
