Rotate a plane in GIMP
A simple white background serves as an example for the instructions. On the there is a separate layer in the form of a black rectangle. Here we explain how you can rotate this layer. In the gallery you can see the individual steps using pictures.
- Press "CTRL" and "L" at the same time. This will open the Layer Manager.
- Select the rotation tool in your toolbox (or toolbox). If your toolbox is not yet visible, press "CTRL" and "B".
- Now all you have to do is select the layer you want to rotate in the Layer Manager. Then click on the layer and position it with the mouse.
