Gimp: Remove color casts - how it works
With "Gimp" you can also remove color casts afterwards. In our guide, we explain exactly how this works.
Eliminate color cast on photos with Gimp
- Start Gimp and click on the tab "Tools"> "Colors"> "Values".
- A new window called "Color Values" will now open on your screen.
- First click on the "Select black point" pipette below.
- Then move the eyedropper to the blackest point on your image and press the left mouse button.
- Then go back to the "Color values" window and this time select the "Select white point" eyedropper.
- Then find the whitest point on your photo and mark it with the eyedropper.
- Gimp now adjusts the color values. This will improve the color cast of your picture.
