Gimp: No feedback - what to do?
This guide shows you what you can do if Gimp issues the error message "No feedback".
No feedback from Gimp: fix the problem
- If the error message "No response" appears on Gimp, close the program via the Task Manager. To do this, end the "gimp-2.8.exe" process.
- Then completely uninstall Gimp from your computer. You can find detailed instructions in this practical tip or in the video of the next section.
- Download the latest version of Gimp and reinstall the program.
- Close all other programs that you do not need via the Task Manager so that there is enough RAM available for Gimp.
- Then start Gimp and give the program enough time to load all elements and functions. Also, make sure you have enough hardware to run the photo editing tool with ease.
- If Gimp freezes during use, go to the Gimp support website and follow the steps outlined there.
