Gimp: Set brush size - how it works
If you want to draw thicker lines with Gimp, you should adjust the brush size accordingly. In this article, we reveal how this works.
Change brush size at Gimp
With the brush or pen you can draw lines in Gimp, design frames or paint over certain areas of the image. The standard size is 20 pixels, but can be changed at any time.
- To do this, start Gimp and click on the pencil icon in the tool box.
- Below you will find a field with the title "Size". Use the arrow keys to set the desired size in pixels.
- You cannot currently choose a measurement unit other than pixels. It is therefore best to test in your picture whether the newly set size is sufficient for you.
- Tip: If you click on the square icon with the black circle in the tool box, you can choose other brush shapes. They differ not only in the precise cutting of the brush, but also in its size.
