Gimp: Measure angle - how it works
With Gimp you can also analyze your images and, for example, measure and correct angles. We'll show you how to check angles with Gimp.
Measure angle with gimp
- Select the measurement tool by clicking on the compass icon or the key combination [Shift] + [M].
- Now click on the starting point of your measurement. From here the angle is measured and symbolized with a protractor.
- Now click on the target point. A line is stretched between the two points and a horizontal line is drawn at the starting point for orientation.
- To actually get information about the angle, click on "Use info window" in the tool options.
- The next time you take a measurement, the toolbar is hidden; an info window appears with information on distance and angle.
