Change outline view in PowerPoint
This practical tip shows you how to switch between the normal slide view and the outline view in Microsoft's PowerPoint.
Change outline view in PowerPoint
To change the normal view to the outline view, proceed as follows:
- Click on the "View" tab in the menu bar at the top. The menu item "Normal" should have a color background. If this is not the case, click on it with the left mouse button.
- At the latest now a small window appears on the left edge of the screen. Click on "Outline" here.
- Now you can see your created PowerPoint slides in the outline view. To close it again, click on the small "X" on the right.
- Clicking on "Slides" again brings you back to the classic slide view.
The practical tip relates to Microsoft Office Powerpoint 2007. In other versions, the menu items may be named differently. However, the view can also be changed.
