Gmail: Format text - how it works
With Gmail you can format the text as you like: font, font size and color can be set as you like. We'll show you where to find the text formatting function.
Format text in Gmail
If you write a normal email in Gmail, you will find a button to the right of the "Send" button with the letter [A]. Click on it and you will find the following functions to format the text (left to right):
- font
- font size
- fat
- italic
- underline
- font Color
- alignment
- Enumeration / numbering
- indents
- Indent (left)
- Indent (to the right)
- Quote
- Clear formatting
Gmail: Format the text of an email
- To format a text section, mark it first.
- Then click on the [A] and select the desired formatting.
- Tip: To remove the formatting of an inserted text, select it and then select "Clear formatting" (last symbol).
