Receive GMX reminder - what to do?
In this practical tip, we will tell you what you can do if you have received a reminder from GMX.
That is behind the GMX reminder
- GMX often offers its own product "Top Mail" for the customer as a "loyalty bonus", "birthday greeting" or "thank you".
- At first glance, many users do not recognize that this is a paid offer. They then ignorantly conclude a contract with GMX.
- When the first GMX reminder arrives a few weeks later, the surprise and annoyance is great. However, you do not necessarily have to pay the bill.
Receive a reminder from GMX - you can do that now
- First check the letter for authenticity. Are all dates correct? Is your customer number correct?
- After you have convinced yourself that the letter is genuine, you can first contact GMX and ask what the reminder is all about. Ask when you supposedly signed the contract.
- You can reach support at 0900 1000 877. The hotline costs EUR 3.99 per minute.
- If you are unable to explain the claim and you are certain that you have knowingly not claimed any GMX offers, you should object.
- You can use our GMX cancellation template, for example. Here
- Send this by registered mail to: 1 & 1 Mail & Media GmbH, Karlsruhe branch, Brauerstr. 48, 76135 Karlsruhe, Germany
- Note: Please note that the template offered is only an aid. For security, you should also contact a lawyer.
