Set up Google Authorship in Wordpress
If you set up Google Authorship for your WordPress blog, the photo and name of your Google Plus profile will be displayed in the corresponding search entries on Google. We show you how to integrate the feature into your page and follow Google's guidelines.

Google regularly provides helpful news about the search engine on a blog. There, Google also published some tips on how to use Google Authorship correctly.
- An important note from the developers is that you should only activate Google Authorship for pages that actually contain content from the linked author.
- Therefore, avoid including Google Authorship on the start page of your blog, for example, if the content of different authors is listed here.
How to properly integrate Google Authorship
- Log in to the WordPress software.
- Click on "Design" in the menu bar on the left and then select the "Editor".
- Now click on "Header (header.php)" on the right.
- Look for the "" tag in the code (see image).
- Just before the "" tag, paste the appropriate code for Google Authorship. You can find the code in the next paragraph.
